Nokia seems to have brought out the E-series branded mobile phones for the use of the business classes. Nokia E65 is a slider phone, having a dimension of 105mmx49mmx15.5mm, weighing only 105 grams with its battery, and is one of the smallest of its series. It has rounded edges, and soft material has been used in its construction, providing a small feeling in hand. It is smaller in size than the E60 model, which is a little larger than many standard phones, but a nice one to possess. The E65 Nokia mobile phone is easy to grip, with the sides having a rubbery feeling plastic. The front of the phone has a plastic housing for the controls and the screen. The battery cover of the phone gives a leather-like feeling, being made with the same kind of material as the front.

Nokia E65 is a slider phone, having a sturdy slider mechanism, and it provides a chunky feeling as you slide it up and down. The slider appears to be a definite improvement over the previous N80 or N95 models. The keys on the phone are made from hard plastic, and have the surrounds and the slider runner in metal, providing mechanical reliability to its sliding mechanism. The keys have ridges providing a good hold, though it looks horizontally cramped. The phone has quite a large screen, which provides 16 million colours. E65 comes integrated with a 2 megapixel camera, along with easy-to-use camera features. The features allow the user to take snap shots or record video using the camera. The high quality imaging feature of the phone, allows the user to capture, store, edit and share their photos, and recordings with others. The video recording feature allows playback, editing, sharing and stream video footage.

With this the phone has a internet capability, providing the facility to manage multiple SIP services, and allows to set up a VOIP call, when the SIP service has been successfully registered. The Nokia E65 supports “push” email services from Nokia, Microsoft (Exchange), Blackberry (Blackberry Connect), Good (Mobile Messaging) Visto, and more.

Besides the multimedia messaging system, Nokia E65 features impressive software suits, ranging from the standard PDM applications, to Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Quickoffice) and PDF (Adobe) documents, and others, which are available as standards in an E series mobile phone. E65 is a Quad Band (GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900), and WCDMA 2100 network phone, and has 50 Mbytes Memory plus MicroSDâ„¢ Card.
